Farewell Berlin

The feeling of leaving a world that had given meaning to my existence, leaving its night, its light, its climate, its people that are open and inclusive despite the suffering of their historical evolution.

Feeling intrigued by the future and nostalgic for the past, but knowing that Berlin will always be home, not because the door is always open, but because Berlin does something special to its inhabitants that lets them call themselves Berliners for the rest of their lives.
